C.P.E. Bach – Cellokonzerte

After two internationally acclaimed recordings, Ensemble Resonanz is releasing its third CD of works by Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach: the cello concertos Wq 170 and 172 and the symphony in G major, Wq 173. The recording marks the beginning of the collaboration between Riccardo Minasi and the Ensemble Resonanz on the label harmonia mundi France.

Together with Riccardo Minasi and their longtime friend, the cellist Jean-Guihen Queyras, they have developed and recorded on CD a sound that rediscovers this music on modern stringed instruments.
