Alena Baeva

Alena Baeva is renowned as one of the most fascinating and versatile soloists in the world.

Her career has developed rapidly in recent years and her wide-ranging repertoire - currently over 40 violin concertos - is constantly growing. She works closely with conductors Paavo Järvi, Vladimir Jurowski, Teodor Currentzis and Valery Gergiev. As an enthusiastic chamber musician, she performs with artists such as Martha Argerich, Yuri Bashmet and Stephen Isserlis.
